Geology notes

Nichols and Ott (1978) did not provide specific lithological or environmental information for their individual samples, and they did not place them within a stratigraphic scheme. I have therefore provided the lithological overview given in the paper for the Paleocene sequence within the Wind River Basin, and given the mix of fluvial and lacustrine sediments within this I have opted for 'terrestrial indet.' as the environment.
