About Puyallup Gem and Mineral Club
Puyallup Gem and Mineral Club (formerly known as Puyallup Valley Gem & Mineral Club) exists to foster members' interest in geology, earth sciences, mineralogy, gemology, and related lapidary subjects as a social, recreational, and educational hobby, serving the greater Tacoma-Puyallup area of Pierce County. The club meets twice monthly at a grange hall in Puyallup -- the first meeting of the month for club business, the second for education, programs, and fellowship. Its major annual public event is the 'Gem Show in the Trees,' held at the Tacoma Sportsmen's Club.
