About Kennewick WA Chapter
The Kennewick, WA chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America is a small Tri-Cities-area gold prospecting group with about 9 members. It meets at a public library branch during the September-through-June season. Chapter leadership includes President James Tatum Jr., Vice President James Brady, Treasurer Douglas Staudt, Secretary Shawna Brady, and Chair Michael Mineer. As a GPAA chapter, members can work GPAA-owned claims. No independent chapter website or social media page is listed on the national GPAA directory. This is a distinct organization from the NFMS-affiliated Lakeside Gem & Mineral Club, also based in Kennewick -- the two are different clubs, not duplicates.
