About Cache Rock and Gem Club
The Cache Rock and Gem Club is a non-profit organization based in Cache Valley, Utah whose general purpose is to develop interest in and increase knowledge of minerals, rocks, gems, fossils, and the lapidary arts, promoted through family participation. Members go on rock-collecting field trips around the region (including trips to Newspaper Rock near Canyonlands) and have access to a shared workspace called 'the Rock Shed' with lapidary tools. The club hosts an annual Rock Show at the Cache County Events Center.
