About Michiana Gem & Mineral Society Inc
Promotes the study and enjoyment of the earth sciences and the lapidary arts, welcoming anyone interested in geology, mineralogy, and related fields. Meets the fourth Sunday of the month (with seasonal exceptions) at a South Bend church, with doors opening 30 minutes before the 2pm start. Publishes a newsletter, The RocKFINDER, and hosts an annual gem and mineral show at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds, historically the third weekend of August.
