Serra Sao Francisco Tungsten Deposit is a historic mining site in Sao Paulo, documented by the USGS Mineral Resources Data System. The mineralization is hosted in Metasedimentary Rock, within the Brazilian Shield setting. Reported specimens include Axinite, Bismuth, Cassiterite, Copper, Fluorite, Galena; logged ore minerals are Bismuth, Cassiterite, Fluorite, Molybdenite, Wolframite; gangue is recorded as Axinite, Tourmaline. The site was discovered in 1936; production began in 1945.

Ore control

Wolframite Occurs In Almost All Quartz Veins In Area (N 66 E Set)And May Be Associated With Galena, Arsenopyrite, Pyrite And Chalcopyrite. Sparce Cassiterite. Numerous Tungstite Occurrences Reported. Wolframite Has Not Been Found As Disseminations Or Impregnations In Greisen. Mineralized Veins Up To One Meter In Width Are Reported.
