Walker Valley geode site

Hey there! Just a heads-up if you're planning a trip to Walker Valley soon—the southern route via Peter Burns Road is permanently closed now (Skagit County ruled it private property). You’ll need to loop around and approach exclusively from the north end of Peter Burns Road. Also, DNR has active logging crews running the Walker Valley Mainline right now. The trucks have strict right-of-way, so make sure you pull way off the road when you park near the gate so they can pass safely. The geode pit itself is still totally open to public hobby collecting, just don't forget to hang your Discover Pass in the window before you hike in. Happy digging!
