Formed by co-founders Tony "Steve" Conjulusa and Dwayne Deck; a Facebook post about the club idea drew 400 responses within eight hours, showing strong local interest. Educates children and adults about the science and geology of rocks and lapidary crafts like jewelry-making; many members are new to the hobby.
